Very interesting slide-show there, would have liked to hear the foot-notes/discussion points for each side also.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly it would seem that Zynga games is currently dominating this market.
I'd like be interested a discussion/thoughts of the Zynga games/business model in a future post.

ReplyDeleteInteresting presentation. Would have loved to hear it.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any accompanying audio? Interesting presentation for sure, curious as to where you got the metrics. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWould love to hear the voice or read the foot notes for each slide. Very nice work.

I'm sad to see you advocating Address Book mining as a means of growth. Especially the example you used in which the default seems to be a checkbox already ticked for "contact this person".
ReplyDeleteThis is about as close to "preselect an option to trick me into spamming all my friends" as makes no difference. That's a really poor long term growth model and a horrific user experience. If we must have "mine address book" at least advocate some best practice and have boxes unticked.
Thanks
