Real Drinks Have Umbrellas
Here is an example of random free form doodling. The head turned into a body which in turn needed an arm. Unfortunately, arms require hands and I really didn't want to draw a hand. A drink appeared in a strategic location, with a table following shortly afterward. And of course, the drink needed an umbrella.

Sometimes I think the creation of fantasy art uses the same mental equipment as the recollection of memories. In both cases we latch onto a few key elements and our brain logically fills in the details.
